OLP Christmas Program 2005

This Christmas season started off on a high note, with the musical performances directed by Mrs. Baker. It’s A Holiday Moosical, a Musical play about a moose that wants to fly was performed by students from first through fourth grades. The main characters were Marty Moose, The Songless Bird, Father Time, Baby New Year, and the Rag Doll Girl, and the Rag Doll Boy. There were a number of cheery Elves and happy Toy Soldiers. There were also Snow People, Christmas Trees, Sugar Plum Fairies, Reindeer, Candy Canes, and a host of back-up singers. They sang the songs, “It’s All True,” “I could Fly,” “Roots,” “Follow Your Dream,” and “A Time For Miracles.” It was a very festive show, that gave us all a lift!
Surfin’ Santa was performed by Kindergarten and fifth through eighth grade. This wonderful show was based on Santa wanting a vacation, and a break from the pressures of The North Pole before Christmas. The songs they sang were “If Only I Can Make It Through The Winter,” “Gotta Get Away,” “Surfin’ Santa,” “The Santa Man,” “Feliz Navidad,” and “Share A Little Christmas.” They did a great job singing and welcoming this Christmas season.
