First Mass 2008
What better way to start off the school year than by gathering in the Church for an all school celebration? On Friday August 22, the entire school gathered together as a Christian family to celebrate the start of another year. The Mass began with a beautiful procession of the blue and white flags by the sixth and seventh graders. Normally, we would have the procession of red and white flags, but we celebrated the Queenship of Mary at the celebration, replacing all of the red flags with blue ones. After Communion, the eighth grade girls delighted the crowd with their presentation of the Magnificat. We ended our Mass with the traditional blessing song to welcome our new students, teachers, and kindergartners. What a blessed way to begin the year!
