1930-1934

Imagine what it would be like to have a family full of brothers and sisters. Babies were wrapped in blankets with no clothes underneath, since families couldn't afford them. Imagine never getting anything new, just hand-me-downs, and old scraps found on the street. The whole family is depressed since your father lost his job. You have to wait in long lines every morning for a piece a bread, sometimes even a crumb. This is what living through the thirties was like. What was once an American dream soon became a nightmare. Imagine, just imagine.
